Miss Lobdell is the Associate State Director of the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern Pennsylvania, Inc.

Miss Rita Lobdell is a native of Marion, Indiana.  She is the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Roy Lobdell.  She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1961, and went on to study Missions, with a major in Bible at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill.

In 1964, Miss Lobdell graduated from Moody Bible Institute and went on to attend the Child Evangelism Fellowship Leadership Training Institute in Muskegon, Michigan.  After completing the Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) Institute courses, she was hired as the CEF Director of Madison County, Indiana, where she served fore 6 years.

In 1970, Miss Lobdell became a faculty member of the CEF Leadership Training Institute in Michigan and she began training teachers.  As part of the Leadership Training Team, Miss Lobdell traveled throughout the United States instructing youth workers, pastors, missionaries, and CEF workers on how to evangelize children.

Miss Lobdell resigned her position with the National Headquarters of CEF in 1978 to come to Pennsylvania, serving here as the State Director of Education.  Over the last 22 years, she has been responsible for writing lesson plans, directing teacher training, and overseeing every aspect of the curriculum used in CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP OF EASTERN PA., INC. to reach children for Christ.  In January 2004 Miss Lobdell accepted the position of Associate State Director.  She is a vital part of the Pennsylvania State CEF Literature Committee, Summer Missionary Training School Committee, and Education Committee, charting the progress and energizing the effort to reach boys and girls for Jesus in our state.  Miss Lobdell also plays a major role in developing Keystone Courses, professional education for our full-time staff to enhance their ministry.
