MINISTRIES
Good News Clubs - are the primary ministry. They meet weekly, October through April, after school, in homes, churches, and some are held on public school property.
Teacher Training Classes - meet weekly, bimonthly, or monthly to provide training for the teachers. Special teacher training is also provided in churches when requested.
5-Day Clubs - are held for five consecutive days during the summer months on porches, on steps, in yards, or inside homes.
Good News Day Camp - some areas sponsor day camps; others have overnight camps.
Summer Missionary Training School - is a training and summer ministry program of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern Pennsylvania. All across Eastern Pennsylvania, many young people are trained each year to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- is personal work conducted on the streets using the Wordless Book, in the parks, beaches, or wherever the children are.
Released-Time Classes - children are released from school to a nearby church or community building for one hour of religious instruction.
Urban Ministries - Our office located in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia reaches hundreds of children every year with the Gospel.
- a trailer type vehicle which can be moved from place to place, such as shopping centers, fairs, etc.
- a one-time class held around the holiday season, usually Christmas and Easter.
- some areas have a tent, booth, or chapel at various fairs.
- include clubs in hospitals, orphanages, nurseries, detention homes, rallies, and special meetings in churches.
- are available as a means of follow-up to encourage the children to learn more from the Bible.
- is a telephone ministry where a child can hear a Gospel message twenty-four hours a day.
